Seven Days 08/07/19  ' These can be days of the week or random days that tell a story. Your interpretation can be objective or subjective. You can produce seven separate, one large diagrammatical or a continuous strip illustration.  You need to write yourself a brief that is clear and challenging but manageable.'     I am starting this assignment by doing a mind map to get some ideas generating. Mind Map   Then I did a moodboard on Tarot cards to have a look at how there are made, style that's used and what sort of stuffs put on them.     I then drew out some ideas and then did some colour palette and notes.    Then I went and had a look at existing drawings of The Seven Deadly Sins. Educational Strip  06/04/2019 ' You have been asked to produce an illustrated strip of up to five frames explaining to young teenagers how to cope with the onset of puberty. Due to the subject matter and the intended age group it is suggested that you use metaphor and humour when conveying the message.  What's happening to my body? its going mad! '   I started this exercise with a mind map: Puberty Mind Map    Then I went straight into thumbnails as I had a few Ideas to start with: Ideas  I came up with three ideas that I liked the best Menstrual Cycle, Puberty in Girls and Puberty in Boys. Exercise: Packaging

Packaging 31/03/2019 'Produce a series of illustrations for packaging to be used for a new range of organic  biscuits for children. There are three varieties in the range: Raisin    Choc Chip    Ginger The client wants specifically three illustrations featuring extinct animals interacting in some fun way with a biscuit to be used on the boxes. The drawing should be in full colour, and the client would like the colours to reflect the flavour of the biscuit. How will you stand out amongst the others? You need to decide whether you will exploit 'pester power' or appeal to both adult and child. You may want to develop characters suitable for young children or employ a style of drawing to appeal to your all audiences. You also need to decide whether you will have hand drawn or 'Straight' typography.  You need to submit all stages of the development process - thumbnails, visuals for all three designs and a mock up for at least one.'
